Homicide suspect at large after shooting death in south Fargo

Eyestone benefit April 16 at VFW

A benefit for Theresa Eyestone is planned from 1 to 6 p.m. Saturday, April 16, at the VFW in West Fargo.

A pulled-pork dinner will be served, with a silent auction and bake sale.

Eyestone was diagnosed with Stage II breast cancer last July 30. She underwent eight rounds of chemotherapy and was scheduled for a lumpectomy, but suffered a heart attack that postponed her surgery.

She had the lumpectomy Jan. 20, but found out the following week that the surgical margins showed active cancer cells and that further surgery was required. Eyestone had a mastectomy Feb. 4.

During this entire process, Eyestone has worked as much as she can between treatments and surgeries. She has been married to her husband, Dennis, for 36 years. They have a daughter, Angela and a grandson, Joe.

All funds raised will help the Eyestones with current and future expenses associated with her diagnosis.
