New Release Movie — "Ghostbusters": 2 p.m. Saturday. Two paranormal researchers, a nuclear engineer, and a subway attendant join together to fight ghosts that have invaded New York City. Free popcorn. PG-13.
"The Checkered Years" Book Discussion: 1 p.m. Saturday. The West Fargo Public Library and Bonanzaville are partnering this fall to offer a book discussion of "The Checkered Years: A Bonanza Farm Diary, 1884-88," by Mary Dodge Woodward. Bonanzaville's gates will open to participants at 1 p.m. and a tour of "The Checkered Years" bonanza farm home will be led by a docent at 1:30 p.m. Refreshments and a discussion of the book will follow at 2 p.m. Free and open to the public. Bonanzaville is located at 1351 Main Ave. W., West Fargo.
Halloween Storytime: 10:30 a.m. Monday. Listen to a few Halloween stories, make and take a simple pumpkin craft, and grab a fun treat. Kids (and parents/caretakers) are welcome to come in costume.
Halloween Party: 4:30 p.m. Monday. Wear a costume and stop by for a library scavenger hunt, a Halloween craft, and some spooky treats. Free.
Twisted Stitchers Beginners Knitting Night: 6:30 p.m. Tuesday. Join the Twisted Stitchers for an evening of instruction and help. All learners need to bring size 8 or 10 needles and yarn. No preregistration required. Free and open to all ages.
Technology Class — Intro to Facebook 2: 1 p.m. Tuesday. Learn the basics of Facebook, including uploading pictures, using Facebook Messenger, joining groups, and more. Patrons must bring Facebook login, password and library card. Laptops will be provided. Space is limited; registration is requested at the service desk or by calling (701) 433-5460. Free.
Friday Morning Movie — "It's The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown": 10:30 a.m. Friday. Charlie Brown and friends' help Linus prepare for the visit in the fun Halloween tale. Free movie and popcorn. (Rated G)

Simply Stories: 10:15 a.m. Tuesday. This session is geared for lap babies and preschoolers and is just stories — no crafts. For stories and simple make-and-take crafts, visit the library at 1:30 p.m. Tuesdays. Registration is not required.
Storytime with a Craft — Harvest Time: 1:30 p.m. Tuesday. Story times are geared for preschool through first-grade age children and their caretakers. Daycares are welcome, but for groups larger than five, please call ahead at (701) 433-5460. Registration is not required.
Ham Radio Operators - RRRA: 7 p.m. Wednesday. Ham radio operating technician and/or general license classes. Open to all adults and children (with attending adult) who want to learn more about ham radio operation.
