Summer Reading Program Kickoff Party: 2:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday. In addition to registration, there will be a variety of activities running throughout the evening including : Traveling Lantern Theater Company, model trains and guest storytime reader.
Model Trains a Comin' Round the Bend!: 2:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday. Watch these model trains ride a miniature rail. Engineered by retired railroader Steve Wingad and friends. Free and open to all.

Genealogy: Noon to 4 p.m. Saturday. Bring projects or just ask questions.
Simply Stories: 10:15 a.m. Tuesday. This session is geared for lap babies and preschoolers and is just stories — no crafts. For stories and simple make-and-take crafts, visit the library at 1:30 p.m. Tuesdays. Registration is not required.
Storytime with a Craft: 1:30 p.m. Tuesday. Story times are geared for preschool through first grade age children and their caretakers. Daycares are welcome, but for groups larger than five, please call ahead at (701) 433-5460. Registration is not required.
Twisted Stitchers: 6:30 p.m. Tuesday. Evening of knitting or crochet. Bring supplies. Not for beginners, but tips will be given to knitters and crocheters needing help. No pre-registration required.
Babies Rock — Sensory Storytime: 10:30 a.m. June 7. Bring the little ones to the library for a lap-sit storytime and sensory activities. Geared for babies up to 20 months.

Technology Class — Computer Basics: 1 p.m. June 12. Learn the basics of using computers, including identifying computer components, starting up/ shutting down, basic navigation, creating and moving files and finding programs. Bring a laptop or use one of the library's laptops. Space is limited. Please register at the service desk or by calling (701) 433-5460.
SRP Rock-Tac-Toe (Grades K-4): 2 p.m. June 12. Build and design a Rock-Tac-Toe game set, using rocks, paint and creativity. Free and open to kids in grades kindergarten through four.
Fairy Gardening Workshop: 7 p.m. June 12. Master Gardener Beth Rogness demonstrates how to create a magical mini garden. Free and open to 18 and over. Register at (701) 433-5460.
SRP Hop 'n Pop (Preschool): 10:30 a.m. June 13. Special Hop 'n Pop storytime. Listen to a story, have treats, and dance to music on bubble wrap. Designed for preschoolers and their caretakers.
The library is closed Sundays during the summer months.
