Letter: Story about local author is great example of the good in social media
It was a pleasure to read the article about Dr. Jacqueline Bussie in last Sunday's Forum. I am happy that she managed to publish her book, "Love Without Limits."
We always hear about the ills of social media, but this is a great example of how, through Facebook, the situation turned around for Dr. Bussie.
We have known Dr. Bussie for leading the interfaith meetings hosted by Concordia College. She has always been the voice of reason and inclusion at these meetings. I am grateful to Concordia College and Dr. Bussie for having hosted speakers from different faiths to come to Concordia and give talks to the students and to the public.
Dr. Bussie has always struck me as a kind, open-minded and spiritual person. It has been an honor to know Dr. Bussie and I congratulate her on the publication of her book. I look forward to reading it. Thank you.
