West Fargo dismisses girls swim coach
West Fargo High School girls swimming coach Ronald Hehn has been relieved of his duties.
Hehn's was dismissed for what the school called "inappropriate coaching practices." He was in the midst of his first season as the varsity coach.
"Mr. Hehn will not have any additional contact with student athletes in any current or future role as a coach or educator in the West Fargo School District," the school said in an official statement. "West Fargo Public Schools is committed to providing all students a positive academic, co-curricular, and extra-curricular experience."
School officials say they are continuing their investigation into the matter.
Barb Fisher, who coaches the Packer boys team, has been named interim coach of the girls' program.
Updates will be posted to this story as they come in.
